TSGED 2019
The "Tournoi Sportif des Grandes Écoles de la Défense" took place from 14 to 17 March 2019.
Supaéro students traveled to Paris, at the École Polytechnique campus, to defend our school.
Basket M
Nice participation of the basketball team who did great all throughout the tournament and who gets the bronze medal!
Judo
Supaéro was also represented in judo:
Short 3-2 defeat against the Air School for the first meeting
Victory 4-1 for our judokas against the health school
Defeat 3-2 against the Naval Academy
ISAE finishes third overall! Bronze medal for everyone!
Women's Handball
The women's handball team did not go low throughout the tournament:
They managed to qualify in the semifinals by winning against Santé Lyon and ENSTA Bretagne but during the match and despite a good come-back from the second half, the team lost against École Polytechnique and will play the small final the next day. The team gets third place overall! Congratulations to them!
Swimming
Brilliant results for Supaéro in swimming, congratulations to all our athletes:
Gold medal for Aymeric Lasserre in the 100m back crawl in 59'60
Silver medal for Mélitta Guihard in the 50m back crawl in 35'80
4th place for Gorkuz Mola 100m breaststroke in 1min 22
4th place for Bianca Terranova 50m breaststroke 32'60
Gold Medal for Arthur Fezard at the 100m crawl in 54'10
Badminton
Small difficulty at the beginning of the tournament with the defeat of the first two games in addition to two broken strings, but Supaero recovers and finishes 7th in the final table!
Rugby M
A tournament full of victories for the racing club of Supaéro!
Our painters have mastered the strong fellows of Val de Grace 5-0 and then did really great against the ENSTA 19-0!
Fencing (saber)
The team of Saber did a good job, during the phases of hens however the team lost all three matches (despite a good recovery to 34-36 against St Cyr) and could therefore only claim the 7th place, which it managed to take by defeating EOGN 36-29.
This is still an honorable performance since two of the three members were new to this weapon! It will remain the foil and the sword with more experienced teams
Finally, the team gets the 7th place by leaving ENSTA Paris after 3 defeats in pool.
Cross
Julie Lelong crushes all competition with a 1st place in the semifinals of cross and 20s in advance!
Rowing
Rowing got many medals for Supaéro!
- Men's 1000m: 2nd place for Robin Buratti
- Women's 1000m: 1st place for Claire Raulin!
- 1 'masuclin: 3rd place for Robin
- 1 'female: 3rd place for Claire
- Relay 4x500m: 3rd place to 1 second (on 7 ') on the 2nd! With Victor Lauferon, Daniel Clemente, Robin and Manon Fontanel
Sail
Congratulations to our sailing team who had to face difficult weather conditions with 25nds of wind oscillating in strength and direction ... It finished 9th out of 12 at the end! The second day was canceled in view of the weather forecast.
Horse riding
Passage for 3 of our 4 riders on the first day which started with 2 no fault, the first of the morning! They finished 5th overall. Congratulations to them!
Volley F
Victory for Supaéro against Santé Lyon and very good match of volleyball F against Ensta Bretagne, congrats to them!
